F.O.P. Keemun Tea - China Black Tea - A selection Chez Tante Edith

4,50 € tax incl.

The Keemun is the natural tea whose taste undoubtedly brings to mind the smell of the rarest flowers…

This Keemun requires a fine quality picking: indeed it is an unsmoked China tea, with very regular leaves finely rolled. Its infusion  is subtle, velvety with leathery and woody notes, and a touch of chocolate at the end, and its smell is like that  of the orchid.

We call them "black teas". However in China they are known as Hong Cha meaning red teas because of the redish hue the leaves take when brewing. They appeared in China much more recently than green tea, at the end of the sixteenth century, following the economic boom stemming from the first exports. Coming essentially from the Anhui, Yunnan and Fujian regions, the China black teas offer a large range of flavours one should absolutely discover.
