Japan Green Tea: Natural Leaf "Sencha Fukuyu"

13,00 € tax incl.

Two names: Secha Fuyuku or Natural Leaf for a Great Tea: a unique Japan green tea…

This Japan green tea Sencha Fuyuku, better known as Natural Leaf is also called Hospitality Tea in Japan.

These early Japan green teas also called Sincha or new teas are usually picked in April or May. After a winter stopping the growth of tea plants, a thrust of sap allows new tender and very tasty sprouts to appear.

Harvests begin in the provinces of Kagoshima and Kyushu, and later in the more northern provinces of the archipelago. A sign of spring and produced in very small quantities, these very fine teas are much appreciated by the Japanese and are a precious gift for their relatives and friends.

The Sencha (steamed needle-shaped teas) are very much appreciated in Japan for their refreshing taste. This summer harvest offers a strong beverage with a fruity flavour and a slight bitterness.
