Provençal Navettes with Lavender

This Provençal violet-flavoured navette belongs to the sweet delights of Provence… This small Provençal navette is a crunchy biscuit without egg, with yeast delicately flavoured with Lavender.

Navettes are traditionally consumed in Provence for Candlemas (the candle holiday, day of the presentation of Jesus in the temple of Purification of the Virgin Mary). They bring to the mind of the people of Provence the small boat (the nave) which supposedly brought to our coasts Mary-Magdelene, Mary-Salomée, Martha and Lazarus back from the Holy Land.

This Provençal treat is made by a master confectioner from provence without GMO and the taste of lavender is just right.

These small navettes are sold by weight. There are approximately 7 biscuits for 100g. Choose the desired weight in the pull-down menu.
